A night of local music from three up and coming bands.

City Sun:

City Sun- Devin Vargo (vocals, lead guitar), Nick Wort (rhythm guitar), Isaac Salas (drums, percussion), and Kyle Carpenter (bass, background vocals)- is an original indie-groove band based in South Bend, Indiana.

Influenced by a number of genres they form a colorful palette of sound containing earworm melodies, technical chops, and singer-songwriter-esque lyricism.

While studio recorded songs stay concise and tailored, live performances are unlike one another to ensure a unique experience is brought to each audience!

Their latest single “So I’m Told” was released January 27th, and is to be followed with plenty more new music Spring 2023!

Flo State:

Flo State is a duo/band from the minds of two brothers (Gabriel and Isaac Salas). What started out as a small project formed in North-Western Indiana blossomed into a collaborative effort between the Salas brothers and their close friends from across the Midwest.

With influences ranging from pop, indie, singer/songwriter, punk, americana, and more, Flo State takes those and wears them on their sleeve to create music out of the melding of minds and genres.

Why Not Both:

Formed in the summer of 2019, comprised of Kelsie Harmon on guitar and vocals, Joe Nolan on lead guitar, John Papaleo on Bass, and Aaron Villanueva on drums. Described as DIY Pixie Pop – Indie Rock. Why Not Both has played numerous shows throughout the Midwest delivering beautiful melancholy vocals, heart felt “jam band” worthy melodies and a rhythm sections that’s been locked in since the beginning. Each band member grew up on different styles of music and coming together to make the perfect Midwest genre concoction. Indie rock af and all the good vibes. Why Not Both?
